Dover Express - 8 September 1899

1st Cinque Ports Volunteer Artillery (Eastern Division RA) - 2 and 3 Companies orders for the week ending 16th September, 1899 - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, at 6pm sharp, at Archcliffe Fort, 10-inch R.M.L. drill; Thursday, at 12.43pm at Priory Station, for Interstation Carbine Contest at Sandwich, undress uniform. On duty for the week, Lieutenant F G Hayward, Sergeant W Nicholls, Corporal F Buntz, Bombadier E Arter, Trumpeter R Kidd. All carbines and swords in possession of members must be returned to the Armoury at once. Members requiring drills in order to render themselves efficient for the current year are requested to attend as soon as possible. The 10-inch R.M.L. inspection will take place on the 20th inst.
